Comfy beds but that’s no good if you’re woken up by the neighbours 😂

Such a friendly welcome! The room was immaculate and SO clean. The food (evening and breakfast) was delicious and plentiful. We will certainly return when in the area. Oh and the parking was easy too :)

Location great, contact with owner great, lovely house and cute patio area, perfect for myself, daughter and two dogs. Tesco nearby, nice range of shops, great for a base to visit other nearby towns by train. Even a lovely dog friendly pub in walking distance.
We particularly chose this location because we were attending a funeral and the cottage was very near to where we had to continue our journey the next day. It was beautifully quiet and close to dog friendly pubs too. Our hosts were exceptional and couldn't do enough for us. They adored the family dog and she had free rein of the enclosed garden which kept her very happy. We also enjoyed hearing about their renovation work on the Grade II house. We would like to return to see it finished.
Pretty and clean dog friendly cottage in a super little hamlet. We had absolutely everything we needed and the cottage was warm & very comfortable. The green & walks opposite just up the road were lovely for our dog. It was a peaceful quiet break and Monique, the owner is lovely. Great welcome pack too. We will return
