Excellent experience. Super cute and comfy pod. Excellent host. Loved the fire pit. I had one of the famous burgers, cooked over the fire pit, delicious! The host checked up on me later (there was a massive storm) and brought home made cake - an unexpected treat. The pod is warm and cosy and I was extremely glad to be there (should have been camping!!). There is a lovely shared kitchen which is cosy and well equipped. There are shared toilet and shower facilities which are spotless. The shared facilities are only for a couple of the smaller pods.

Quiet cottage in a beautiful location. Views amazing. Easy to get to places of interest. I wanted to go to the Castle of Mey which you could see from the property. Lovely enclosed garden for our dog Poppy. Close to Dunnet Head RSPB reserve.

There was no breakfast, the first property we have visited without one. The location was wonderful, right on the seas edge, quite literally. The bungalow was comfy.

Location and views were stunning. It wasn't what we'd hoped for or expected. However we made do and still had a great family holiday. The wild life in the area is incredible and there's loads of places to walk. Dunnet head is incredible and not to far from the house. Perfect place to go if you're just wanting some peace and quite.

The location is wonderful. Stunning seaviews. We even saw seals in the waves from the kitchen window. Plenty of parking. Big garden, lots of space for the dog to run. Close to beautiful landmarks, such as Dunnet bay. The house is well equipped, with lots of helpful extras provided in the cupboards. Wifi was reliable. Communication before and during our stay was excellent.

Very peaceful setting but excellent location for the ferry to orkney. Accommodation was very clean cosy and equipped with everything we needed. Lots of information for local daytrips in the hideaway and plenty board games, books and films for use too. It's a beautiful setting with a secure garden, so my wee dog was safe, and it's so quiet and unspoilt. Great hosts at the hideaway, I would definitely recommend it.

Very quiet location. Very comfortable property. It is not far from a village with shops and a petrol station, which isn't mentioned in the property description (it only mentions that Thurso is 8 miles away). It is a small property, but certainly a lot larger than a hotel room. If you were with a family you'd want to book the main building or all 3 properties, but for a single person or a couple it is fine. I'd certainly be happy to stay again.
