Felt very private and secure, I didn't feel the need to lock anything when going out. Even though the breakfast was self cooked during covid, the ingredients provided were ample and of good quality. Great kitchen facilities too.

Pike and Eel Hotel and Marina is located in Needingworth and features a garden and terrace. Among the facilities at this property is a shared lounge, along with free WiFi except the chalet standard room area.

The Pike and Eel clearly has a history as it’s a lovely old building, but has been beautifully renovated. The staff were helpful and welcoming and the setting was just gorgeous with views of the river. Delicious, generous, breakfast.

Location was excellent. Short walk into town and near a park where we could throw balls for our dog. The room had everything you could need. The hosts had literally thought of everything. Great attention to detail. There were dog bowls and even a bag of treats for our dog. They had put milk in the small fridge for us and plenty of tea and coffee. Even supplied toiletries for showering. There was a small heater if we were cold and a fan if too hot. Absolutely everything you could need was there. Also very clean and lovely modern decoration.

The location was great and town very nice. Some very good restaurants nearby. Hotel staff very helpful. Room was good size. No lift made it difficult getting to room but managed it, slowly. Dog didn't get the goody bag that should have been in the room for our arrival.

Charming thatched pub in a delightful location just by the river. A lovely quiet spot with a very cosy bar. Very dog friendly. There was alot to visit in the area. The staff couldn't have been more friendly. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean. We really enjoyed the food. We would happily go back.
