Such a lovely place, loved the attention to detail, so much to look at in the bar and restaurant areas. Rooms were cosy and felt like being at home, beds are super comfy too. The food at the restaurant is phenomenal, home made, proper ‘pub’ food. So tasty, so fresh and excellent value for money. I honestly can’t rave about the food enough. However, the star of the show has got to be the staff and owners, what a lovely bunch of people!!

The host, Petra, was very friendly. The breakfast was very good (typical English breakfast with sausages, ham and eggs). I liked the location which was very quite and the fact that there is ample space to park your car. The room we got was huge, had four beds and an additional sofa.
They were incredibly wecloming and hospitable and we wouldn't hesitate in coming back. Lovely half way point stop off on the way to Cornwall as we had our doggy with us and he was so welcomed, very pet friendly.
