Well located property that allows for a relatively easy walk into the town centre, Barbican or Royal William Yard and the ferries from these locations. Dartmoor within a short drive as well as some spectacular "secret" locations such as Rame Head and the less secret Cawsand and Kingsands via Mount Edgcumbe - host was friendly and kept in touch to make sure everything went smoothly.

To be fair there was nothing radically wrong with the Hotel. It is relatively spacious, set in lovely grounds with a golf course. I don't play golf but you didn't need to to enjoy the beautiful scenery. The location at Plympton is also ideal to be on the outskirts of Plymouth but close enough to go into the city for shopping etc.
Lovely location, quiet woodland golf course. Very dog friendly.
