We chose to stay at the Cottage at the Hollow to get away from the busy areas in Edinburg. It was a perfect quiet and peaceful location. It was wonderful to unwind in the evening after touring all day. Communication was excellent and the hostess greeted us as we drove onto the property. As others have said, it is a quick drive to the train station and about 25 minute train ride into the Old Town.
Ideal location, peaceful, sleepy area, but only 25 mins from Edinburgh/Edinburgh airport. Apartment was well appointed and spacious. Clean facilities and good sized kitchen, with microwave/cooker/washing machine & dishwasher
Cottage was set in a lovely location.the gated entrance made you feel that little more comfortable and cosy our hosts were extremely polite and even let us book in early as we drove through the night which was very kind and very much needed. We will 100% be staying again.
