Everything exceeded my expectations. Check in was smooth and easy, even though I arrived late at night after the check in time. The room was great and I loved how I had direct access stairs from my room to the shared kitchen (shared with one other room). Everything was so much better than expected. Smooth, effortless stay 😊

Such a warm and welcoming hotel. Met all our needs. Can't speak too highly of the staff and the way we were treated. Although it's an old building with all the issues needed to maintain old property, you can see and appreciate the effort put in to keep its originality. Ideally located for visiting surrounding attractions. The menue to breakfast and evenings catered for all tastes and again went the extra mile to meet our needs. Good standard of housekeeping Will certainly return.

The lovely welcome and the staff going above and beyond to help me on arrival and in the bar. I was helped to locate the car park, was given recommendations for local takeaways and the lovely barmaid checked the weather for me on her phone. Very dog friendly.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bedding was a good grade and obviously freshly laundered and on the whole the room was clean and tbf was ok for just a one night stop. They are dog friendly and there was no sign that a dog had previously been in the room
