Rose's Cottage is an absolute gem. We just needed somewhere comfortable for a couple of night and it proved perfect. Clean, thoughtfully decorated - it ticked every box. Louise and Barry have thought of absolutely everything to make Rose's cottage a real home from home. Would highly recommend and we will certainly be back! We had a lovely meal at The Barleysheaf which is a couple of minutes walk from the cottage to round off our stay which was an added bonus.

The best thing about our stay was the hosts, Sarah and David - incredibly friendly and helpful people! The accommodations were comfortable and charming, lovely decor and beautiful view. Beautiful yard and patio, too. Location was terrific, a five-minute walk to the village and harbor with lots of great restaurants and shops. (However, it's quite an incline and therefore a hike back to the flatlet.) Large dedicated parking space in a driveway. And even a friendly dog. We really loved this place!

Brilliant house, fabulous location with a great view of the sea and just up the hill from Mevagissey - a 10 minute walk. The hosts have thought of everything. Brilliant for older and younger families and those with a dog - stair gate for the upstairs bedroom, plenty of books and toys for young ones and even biscuits, bed, bowls and poo bags for your dog!
I am a returning visitor to mevagissey , breathtaking village peaceful and not too many tourists . The cottage was comfortable spacious enough everything there even a dog bed ( which we didn’t use)
The continental breakfast was very good, met our expectations with a good choice of cereals and yoghurt, excellent warm croissants, toast on offer, with jam, and extra tea and coffee on request. The owner-hosts, Pete and Tina, are friendly and welcoming, and willing to offer local knowledge when requested.
The location was as advertised, within 10 minutes walking distance of Mevagissey centre, shops, pubs and restaurants, as well as the harbourside.
A warm welcome from our lovely hosts on arrival, with a complimentary cup of tea and cake. This was followed by a tour of the home; made to feel very welcome. Beautifully decorated and appointed with outside areas for relaxation. Dedicated private bathroom with lovely toiletries. A fabulous choice for breakfast and the quality was great. Dogs welcome throughout the property, including at breakfast.
