It was our first holiday in Devon and we’ve had an amazing time at Bluebell cottage. Everything we needed was there and we’ve felt at home immediately. From books to teas, the owners were great hosts and made sure we had everything we needed. Also, the cottage and garden are very very pretty!! We’ve been here for 2 weeks and explored Devon and Cornwall. We absolutely fell in love with the area and we’ll definitely be back for some more pasties, hikes and exploring! Greetings from The Netherlands

A nice little self-contained property within a farm complex, very quiet and very isolated. I did see the owners of Wilson Cottage (who left a nice welcoming card and gift) but apart from them, zero people did I come across, a really peaceful break I had.

The property was well maintained and very comfortable. It is in a quiet location but conveniently situated as a base for exploring the surrounding area and attractions. The local Peter Tavy Inn was very good for evening meals. The owner also generously left a home baked cake for our consumption, which was delicious.

Friendly hosts, lovely big room with private enclosed patio area with attractive planting and garden furniture. The patio was perfect for our dogs. The room had a fridge. We had an evening meal (which has to be ordered in advance as the pub/restaurant is closed except for guests) which was properly cooked and homemade. Walking the dogs up the lane at night we could see the milky way. Peaceful but only a short drive from Tavistock. Excellent breakfast menu and made fresh to order.

This is a lovely little cottage on a farm. We stayed in the smaller barn which has 2 single beds and suited us well. We have stayed here before so knew what to expect. The hosts are really nice and welcoming, leaving homemade cake for our arrival. It suits us for a short stay and is well located for town as well as the moors. The pub just up the road is nice with good food and a great beer choice.

Great location for nearby walks with the dog and located on a quiet country lane. Evening meal and breakfast were 1st class! Nice to have the run of the pub without the crowds with pretty much full bar service and a pint or two of the local beer!
