Beautiful location, unique and characterful. Staff were very friendly and went the extra mile to make our stay very nice indeed. A nice touch was a happy birthday banner for my wife's 50th at the breakfast table, which was a wonderful view over the sea and cliff water powered train which we also went on. Great place to stay!

Great location, a short drive a few minutes from the local, superb pub (Black Venus Inn), a bit too hilly to walk after recovering from major surgery! Dogs allowed, the hosts and children came out and made a fuss of our 1yr old malinois puppy and she loved staying on the farm as well. There's lots of good walks around the area (best follow all-trails app) and really superb facilities, which all looked very new and fresh? The welcome pack has some really good quality stuff, including coffee pods and cookies, etc.

Very friendly and helpful staff thought out. The full English Breakfast was extremely good, with fresh made eggs, and so on. Great service as well. The price and location are fantastic...right in the heart of the Village and immediately adjacent to the shore walks/trails, a block away from the vertical train down to Lynmouth. It is right on the edge of almost cliff like shoreline, so Rooms with a View look above into the sea below and trees at the top.
Also note it is very dog friendly.
The Eaves was exceptionally well thought out for comfort and Michelle and Lee have thought of everything it was very clean and there was some treats for Larry the dog and a very fresh Devon cream tea which was a lovely surprise, The Eaves is ideally located for walkers with a short road free walk into town and excellent for anyone wanting to fish both sea trout and salmon, day tickets for the fishing can be purchased at the local petrol station, I will definately be returning for another visit the The Eaves, very highly recommended
Location fantastic. Staff really welcoming and couldn’t do enough. Views spectacular. Food was delicious. They were really accommodating about very late arrival. Dog friendly and water left out in main reception. Clean with lovely gardens. Well worth the money.
Perfect location along the coastal path walk. Friendly staff and a dog friendly hotel that made us both feel welcomed. Great views and a few restaurants and pubs around for a good breakfast and dinner. Will be back for sure.
Excellent food. We enjoyed our breakfast and dinner every day. Food is absolutely the winner here... freshly cooked, well presented and delicious. We went with our dog and this was truly a dog friendly place. Most other guests went with their dogs and the furry guests were welcome everywhere in the hotel. Good location to explore nearby areas.
