The single room was truly tiny but adequate; the facilities in the sister hotel, the Kirkwall, more than made up for that.

The hotel has been completely shut for months. No warning or refund was given to us, either by the hotel or by booking.com. We arrived in darkness and rain, and it was sheer good luck that we didn’t spend the night outside.

Modern, comfortable & clean property, easy to find & close to all the sights we wanted to see (& the airport). We (five adults) really enjoyed our stay, plenty of room for all of us & a great location. Good communication from Emma prior to arrival. No complaints.

Very comfortable little apartment right in the heart of Kirkwall with shops, restaurants and cafes right next door. The apartment was very clean and the host extremely helpful.

It‘s huge and perfect for families (not for us being a couple with a dog though). The location is rather quiet and a good start for touring the Orkneys by car. Beds are comfortable.
The cottage was lovely, very spacious and clean. It is perfect for anyone with pets or children as has a lovely kitchen with dining table and 3 big bedrooms. The living room was spacious and comfy. We found the location good as we didn't want stay in the middle of town as well as had a car that allowed us to travel. It has a massive garden which was great for the dog.
Amazing house, between farm and old stone mill, otherwise surrounded by pasture. Perfect heating for all rooms is available - good for Orkneys weather. The apartment is between Stromness and Kirkwall (closer to latter). Beautiful sandy beach can be reached by 30 minutes walk along a path just across the road. Pet/dog friendly!
