In a beautiful, relaxing setting. Lovely lodge, well thought out with lots of extra toiletries, towels as well as the usual. The fire pit and barbecue are a nice added extra but unfortunately the weather didn't hold out for us to use them. Very friendly hosts who were able to answer any questions. Little one loved the place and seeing the ducks. Dog friendly too.

Location is great, we were attending Blackpool Championship Dog show. Very dog friendly Hotel, staff very welcoming and helpful. There was a problem with our room key as the last guest had raken it home. But the receptionist just let us in whenever we needed access, it wasn't a great problem and we laughed about it.
The room had the necessary facilities. Check in was easy and there was easy parking outside the hotel. Dogs are allowed (at an additional £10 a night) which is great when travelling with a pet.
Second time staying here as it is perfect for my needs, staff are always so friendly, hotel is clean and warm with the added bonus of being dog friendly as I travel with my pet dog. Food is perfect I will definitely book again when travelling northbound
