The host Claire was incredibly friendly and our accommodation was very cosy, comfortable and extremely clean. The animals were a particular highlight, as were the warm croissants for breakfast. Located on the Black Isle in the heart of the Scottish Highlands, Newhall Mains is a collection of cottages, set within a courtyard building dating from 18th century.

Each cottage boasts garden views, and features a TV, a seating area, a desk and en-suite bathrooms. Each cottage is fitted with a kitchen.

We were a family of 6 and I can't stress enough just how beautiful the whole estate is. The lodge we were in has been tastefully and carefully restored perfectly. Thee living room is built around a log burner that felt extra cosy in the cold winter night! The beds were comfortable, everything was spotlessly clean and the kitchen was very well stocked with utensils, glasses, pots etc. I'd certainly recommend New Hall Main to anybody looking for a slice of luxury, in a gorgeous part of the world.

Nice and quiet location, just off the A9 a couple of mins drive and you are there, beautiful farmlands surround you and a cosy room awaits you with all the necessary amenities you need, Tea/coffee available in your room and some biscuits/cookies to accompany. We brought along our dog which was no problem at all and at no extra charge. A cold Breakfast was available for you to help yourself to but we didn't go for the breakfast during our stay due to maximizing time out and about to explore.

Great Farm location with a view of the Firth. Peter was most welcoming when we arrived, lovely decorated room, modern bathroom spotlessly clean and private. Peter even cooked us a breakfast on the Sunday morning which was well received and totally appreciated👍 Our dog was made to feel so welcome by Peter & Rose which also added to the enjoyment of our stay. Would recommend this location to anyone, we will return.
