The Shepards Hut was beautiful and the inside was comfortable and cosy. The outside area had beautiful views and was positioned perfectly to catch some gorgeous evening skies. The hot tub was the absolute topping on the cake! Louise and Graham were absolutely amazing hosts, were always available when needed, and gave some lovely walk, and pub, recommendations for the local area, thank you so much!
Everything! Lovely shepherds hut in beautiful tranquil location with friendly horses nearby. Great hot tub, so relaxing with a glass of fizz in hand and taking in the beautiful scenery. Great hosts and very helpful. Will be back again for def in the future. Xx
Very lovely weekend break location. The hut has all the basics you need and was comfortable, the hot tub was really great and the surroundings were beautiful. The hosts gave very easy to follow instructions for check-in and gave some great pub recommendations.
The location was superb. Peaceful and quiet with the added bonus of horses in the paddock opposite. Both bedrooms were well presented and comfortable, both had en-suites. It was good, one had a bath and the other had a nice rainfall shower. The wood burner has the focal point of the whole property as it was nice to cosy up, watch TV and keep nice and warm. Kitchen had everything you needed to prepare a nice meal. Louise and Graham were warm and welcoming and fantastic hosts.
The location was idyllic - rural but with many places of interest to suit differing tastes along with a number of excellent local pubs within walking distance. A welcome pack was an unexpected surprise and included snacks and a bottle of delicious wine.
A stunning property with everything you need for a mini break. We stayed there with our two children (2 years and 4 months old) and were accommodated perfectly. Really beautiful location in the countryside and shops / restaurants all nearby. The host provided plenty of useful information on where to go / where to eat etc and was a pleasure to deal with. The lodge is set overlooking a huge field and we could see the sunrise / sunset. We will definitely be back!
