I loved everything, from the moment you arrive, the pub is picturesque, warm welcome and shown to your room. refreshment provided which was nice after a long day travelling. Breakfast was plentiful and set us up for the day. The room was clean and comfortable. the location is peaceful with plenty of parking. highly recommended

My step dad and I travelled up to the area as I had a competition with my horse at Arena UK. Emma and Rob were great hosts from start to finish….very accommodating and left us a little welcome hamper. The coop is perfect and set in such a beautiful quiet location. We also had breakfast from that had been sourced locally which was superb….the fresh farm eggs especially! Cannot recommend this place enough…we will definitely be back and probably will bring the dog next time. We saw deer and hares along the drive too….beautiful! :)

Location amazing for relaxation, quiet and wildlife observation. Yvonne the owner is a fabulous host. Every little detail considered. Property is stunning and the communication was excellent. Milk and a cake in the fridge for our arrival can't fault anything. Great property, great host and great location if you want an out of the way, walking, reading relaxing break away. The central location was ideal for what we needed while moving towards Norfolk from York. The staff were super helpful and accomodating for us and once we located the parking all was good (is actually on Elmer Street Nth). An amazing building and an exceptional room. My wife was a little dissapointed in not viewing the said ghost, but hen she married me so ahould ve use to dissapointment. Loved the 4-Poster bed Throughly recommend staying here
