Clean, tidy, great location, smashing site, very quiet, comfortable dog friendly
Had everything we needed
Kids loved everything about it too
will happily visit again if we decide to head towards the lakes / Cumbria in future
the host emma was very welcoming and told us a few nice places for walks and food, they also said we could walk around the farm which was lovely and quite big, the sheep dogs were very friendly and well trained. location is ok very little close by (walking distance) however a 10 minute or longer drive got you to lovely places for walks and shops. local shops, pubs and cafes definitely prefer cash due to card service charges as they are small businesses. we found quite a few farm shops which were amazing too and had fresh produce.
Fantastic little place especially for the dogs. Really dog friendly towels, blankets and bowls provided. Decking around the caravan was very secure so they could watch the world go by and have a nosy at the sheep in the field next door. Plenty of towels , extra towels and so clean . Such a lovely caravan , home from home 😊
Fully equipped with everything you would need. Comfy beds. Clean rooms. Dogs allowed. Play area for the kids. Half an hour from Keswick. Friendly owner who gave me all info before I arrived.
The weather was fabulous the hosts were lovely people very accommodating, the local pub,The Masons Arms had a warm welcome ,very friendly , food was great, everywhere was dog friendly.Beautiful quiet site , tidy site, children's play area with on site shower, washing machine and dryer, post office .services available on site too. Most places of interest for us to visit were between 15 mins to 60 mins drive away which was ideal.
Caravan was spotless and comfortable. Quiet location with lovely views. It's a great base for northern lakes all accessible by car within 30 minutes. Had a fantastic few days here. Our dogs enjoyed it too !
Nice quiet site, lovely walks and views, great for kids with a good size play park right outside the caravan.
Everything you needed to stay, cleaning products bedding, towels and toiletries.
Undercounter fridge/freezer which was a good size.
Great dog friendly site
Lovely local pub over the road from the site.
Great communication with the owners
The location was OK to get to places if you have a car.
The hosts quickly got in touch regarding an issue and it was sorted
Pub near by and dog friendly.
Beautiful setting on a small caravan park. My son loved the play park. Lovely pub at the entrance to the caravan park and across the road. Which served gorgeous food. Very clean and comfortable. Love the fact its dog friendly. The hosts were so welcoming in their communications. Only 30 mins to Keswick. Surrounded by beautiful scenery. We'd definitely stay again.
