At the time of parking I was a little bit unsure where I could park as the parking area was quite full and I did not have indications of an specific place for parking, but I had no problems parking. As a graduate student about to begin a 3 year program in England, I was eager to get an impression of the place where I'd be spending so much time in the near future... I could not have chosen a better place than this bed and breakfast. Mel, the property director, and his team gifted me a beautiful first-time experience in England. The house, its interior, and its grounds were lovely. Each staff member I met was friendly, warm, and helpful. Two days in a row I accidentally messed up my breakfast reservation (completely my fault) but they were quick to kindly fix my mistake and provide a tasty meal to start my day. I was a bit chilly one night and Mel personally saw to it that I had extra heaters sent to my room for a cozy and restorative sleep — mind you, this was well after hours. He promptly showed up to the front desk at around 10PM, professionally dressed, and helped his team make my room comfortable. What I appreciated most of all was how Mel went above and beyond to enrich my stay: upon learning that I'm a historian, he printed out several pages of historical sightseeing information about the house and the local village, then personally delivered them to me at breakfast one morning. Thank you for such a thoughtful and kind gesture, Mel! The folks at Farnham House Hotel truly pour effort, professionalism, and care into products and service they provide. Because of them, the house was a lovely place to wake up and a retreat I looked forward to returning to each evening.
