We really enjoyed our short stay at this beautiful house . Everything we needed for a family get together . It was a privilege to stay in this historic house with every facility to make our stay comfortable . Very well equipped kitchen , comfortable beds , relaxing and spacious living area,a great outside area for our grandchildren to explore.All very clean and a lovely wood burner to light up in the evening .

Although we didn't need them, Ruth's place has things like a high chair, washing machine and iron which are really handy!
Location is great,with parking nearby (opposite); easy access via keysafe and the initial impression is good. The standard of furnishings,bedding and kitchen appliances/equipment is excellent .

Interesting and pretty old building with lots of charm, amazing huge wood beams, well equipped kitchen, wood burner was very cosy. The location is good for Halifax and close to near by amenities. The host was very friendly and attentive over messages and generously allowed an early check in 🙂
The cottage is lovely and instantly felt like home. The notebook with all the valuable information was both useful and a nice touch. Having ensuite bathrooms for both bedrooms was ideal, and the heating was easy to operate in the bedrooms. Moreover, the larger TV screen and free access to Netflix made for a relaxing evening after a long journey. Finally, the cottages was conveniently located near to our main location of interest.
