In fabulous location, very quiet. Nothing was to much trouble, Karen & Pete were lovely, We arrived & were greeted by Karen, who was so friendly, she gave us coffee and cake, delicious.couldn’t fault anything. Certainly recommend, it’s a fabulous property, rooms excellent, everything you need, and more, even down to, little torch, to use at night, walking to village. Breakfast amazing
The building inside was .amazing and so very old and interesting. Our bedroom was a medieval hall with hammerbeam ceiling and full of interesting features. All the Hotels Staff were really nice and friendly. There was a really good garden which had a gate into Dunster park. The garden overlooked the village roofs and Dunster Castle, and was on level with the first floor bedrooms and easily accessible from upstairs. This is a dog friendly hotel and there were good features for the dog owners, i.e. towels near doors.
Fantastic historic location with easy access to surrounding area. Accommodation had everything required, situated on High Street with views of the Castle. Host was extremely helpful with info about the local area and very dog friendly.
All staff were friendly and easy going. Room was a good size and well decorated / resourced. great historic building. Good food. Super atmosphere. Dog friendly and provided a dog bowl and dog bed. No miniature bottles in the bathroom.
A lovely old building in a great location, with a welcoming atmosphere. Impossible to describe really, as so quirky and unique. Very dog friendly. Very good food, and unlike many of the pubs/hotels in the area, they are open every night. Friendly, obliging staff. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again in the future.
Great staff, great food, excellent location and even though it's an old place ie: parts date back to 1442, it has been renovated beautifully with hidden gems like the secret garden. Am planning on returning later this year with some friends. Although dog friendly, the place didn't smell like dogs :-)
Facilities in the room including dog bed and bowl, fridge, iron and board.
Every member of staff was friendly and helpful.
Lovely outside space and access to a dog walking area.
