Very dog friendly, lovely food and great location. Stayed for 2 nights in the annex. Room was comfortable. We had dinner on the first evening and the food was very good. Would recommend and will visit again. We also used the spa facilities. Lovely garden to walk around and staff were attentive.

The location is excellent for a stop during a drive as it is right on the A30, but conversely, you can hear the traffic a little. The breakfast was fantastic, we had the full English and the eggs royale; both were very tasty and prepared with great ingredients.

Welcome from Gerry, and previous communications with hosts set the scene for a dog friendly best of the best stay in a secluded quite restful part of Devon.
The wooden terrace area for outdoor living is beautiful and the garden was spacious and our dog was welcome to explore, we supervised at all times.
Bread, butter, fizz was a wonderful addition to this 5 star luxury living. Huge thank you to our hosts.

The breakfast was excellent- good portions and well cooked. Catered for vegetarian options as well. Our evening meal plans were disrupted (external travel issues) but the staff were great and accommodated a big party with no problem. Excellent menu choice and again well cooked with good service. A proper busy local pub with good atmosphere and dog friendly.
Lovely location, plenty of free parkng, serves food in own restaurant and has a beer garden including an outdoor covered area. Rooms comfortable and clean. Breakfast was excellent. Dog friendly with a meadow field a short walk away ideal for off the lead walks. Very friendly owners.
