It was a perfect place to retreat from your day to day life. The location is perfect. It is all kept really well with great attention to the environment. The accommodation was comfortable with every day to day need thought of. Mark and Geraldine were always on hand should need anything and nothing was too much trouble. Loved this wee room above an ancient pub (1600?). Everything was perfect from the moment we walked in. I'm pretty well of average height & had to dip my head to get through doorways, what fun! If you was after a classic old old pub the Rose & Crown is a top pick in a divine little village. The room was so comfortable & the shower was excellent. Oh, did I mention the complimentary full English Breakfast?
