Location was great. Tranquility and privacy was second to none.
Amazing extras, flapjacks. Tea and coffee, sugar and milk, butter provided for arrival.
Great to have our dogs allowed and have a private garden.
Close to the river and train station. Local pub eatery within walking distance. Close to the cricket and rugby club and close to the train station although we didn't use it on this occasion.
Lovely comfy bed.
A shawl and extra cushions were provided so I was able to sit and read in comfort as well as sit and photograph the local wildlife in the garden.
A great place to stay and chill out and recuperate when a rest is necessary.
TV, netflix and WiFi was provided.
Welcome pack had all info needed but the cover could have been labelled to make it more clear as to what it was
The breakfast bar was a great addition as was the garden table and chairs.
Ice cubes were in the freezer part of the fridge.

An amazing stay, beautiful and impressive hotel and the most friendly and helpful staff. Everyone went out of their way to ensure we had the best time. The room was exquisite, with amazing decor and fittings and the marble bathroom was straight out of a magazine. We even had an upgrade because of the length of our stay, probably the best hotel we have ever stayed in.

A lovely little cottage which was comfortable and had almost everything we could have wanted for a one night stay. The staff were happy for an earlier check in time which was really appreciated as we were at a wedding at Healey barn for 2. The cottage has a comfortable seating area in front of a fire. Bring some wood if you want to use it. A comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen and shower and toilet.
The location is great for visiting near by towns like corbridge and hexham and as mentioned we were attending a wedding at Healey so this accom was great for that.

This was booked last minute and I have learned to be sceptical about Inns that have pubs. The proprietors are kind and welcoming. The rooms are very clean if basic. The standard, tea, tv and wifi are included. The food both breakfast and dinner were good. And, on a Thursday night, the pub was quiet. I had a great sleep.

The host is charming / convivial and makes up for the deficiencies in the property e.g bathroom not en suite, breakfast minimal. Wholesome dinner prepared by the host.

We stayed in the cottage for 3 nights which was perfect for 4 adults and our small dog. Very well equipped and comfortable including beds. Location was ideal for visiting relatives and local attractions. Breakfast in The Duke of Wellington was excellent and the staff so helpful. Thank you
The location in the pretty town of Corbridge is ideal for lovely walks and a great base for sightseeing in the area. We did the riverside walk which our dog loved and took the train to Hexham. Pubs, restaurants and coffee shops are aplenty and the town centre has beautiful boutique shops. Ideal for a lovely few days away with our friends.
Lovely friendly and welcoming staff. Our dogs were also made very welcome - free dog treats on the bar, a dog cushion in the bar and water provided. Dog friendly bedrooms available and lots of nice walks along the river right next to the pub.
The staff were lovely, the location was quiet, The bed was comfortable, some may think the bathroom is a bit dated but the power shower was great.Good range of tea and coffee in the room, The bar does get busy during the day, there is a car park and it is near the Train station. Dog friendly too. A great value stay.
Ideally located a short walk from the village and river path routes for us and our dog, and an even shorter walk to the train station for Newcastle. The food was delicious and the room comfortable. We found the team were amazingly friendly and helpful, and the venue so dog friendly. We had an amazing time, so much so we have already booked our next stay!
