Great location, a short drive a few minutes from the local, superb pub (Black Venus Inn), a bit too hilly to walk after recovering from major surgery! Dogs allowed, the hosts and children came out and made a fuss of our 1yr old malinois puppy and she loved staying on the farm as well. There's lots of good walks around the area (best follow all-trails app) and really superb facilities, which all looked very new and fresh? The welcome pack has some really good quality stuff, including coffee pods and cookies, etc.

Beautiful location, unique and characterful. Staff were very friendly and went the extra mile to make our stay very nice indeed. A nice touch was a happy birthday banner for my wife's 50th at the breakfast table, which was a wonderful view over the sea and cliff water powered train which we also went on. Great place to stay!

Our stay at The Annex was absolutely wonderful! The accommodation was cozy, immaculate, and perfectly equipped for a relaxing getaway. What truly made our experience exceptional were the hosts. They went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcome, offering local insights and personalized touches that made our stay memorable. Their warmth and hospitality created a home-away-from-home atmosphere. We can't recommend The Annex enough and look forward to returning for another amazing visit! Thank you for everything!

Location was idyllic very quiet. Property very clean and comfortable and presented to a very high standard. Welcome pack with local produce was a super touch too.
Rachel the host popped by to say hello and she was very charming.
We chose a rural location and it was perfect. Took our telescope in the hope of stargazing as it would have been perfect dark skies but weather was horrendous. The hideaway was superb and very high spec.
Clean and welcoming. Nice and warm on arrival. Little touches like apple juice and milk in the fridge, also some tasty cookies. Eco friendly cleaning products used. A helpful guide and leaflets about the area.
Made very welcome by Rachel on arrival. Dog friendly, genuinely!Checked in early as our property was ready and checked out late as no one coming immediately after us.
Great "for 2" location , brilliantly situated for Exmoor and the North Devon coast.
Clean, modern and dog friendly.
Fantastic morning views, and a lovely welcome pack of local food and drinks on arrival too.
Excellent pubs and eating options nearby - and a great bed after a day of walking. Thoroughly recommend if wanting to visit area.
