Bulls Head is a lovely old British pub that serves a delicious Sunday roast on Sundays. It is not a large hotel in relation to the number of rooms but what they do have is excellent. The rooms are small but very comfortable, clean and very well appointed maximising the space without being cramped. We loved our stay here and enjoyed the little extras for example the toiletries were gorgeous, great choice of hot drinks in your room with small bottles of real milk. The staff were friendly, welcoming and the hotel was very quiet during the night.

We loved every part of our stay!! Central location, great for our dog a home from home. Clean, tidy and comfortable. The perfect location for anyone wanting to have a walk around the village or even a walk into hope for the day. Local pubs & food were great, allowed dogs in most places too which was handy for us. Definitely will be booking to stay again at Cheshire Mews thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Ideally & centrally located in Castleton. Very comfortable, modern, clean and dog friendly which many other accommodations in Castleton are not. Would definitely recommend & will definitely return.
Excellent location, walking straight from hotel to bamford edge loop walk. Lovely touches such as ice machine in corridor & tea& coffee room free throughout day. Restaurant was nice & relaxed, perfect for muddy /walking gear wear , very dog friendly & good food.
Delighted with the standard of accommodation. Fantastic ensuite and room decor. Booking a dog friendly hotel can be risky but my room was pristine with no trace of dog odour anywhere in the hotel. I used the rec room to catch up on emails whilst waiting for friends to arrive and enjoyed the free tea and coffee on offer during the day with the added bonus of cake in the afternoon. Popped to the on-site restaurant at lunchtime which didn't disappoint either. Staff were super helpful and friendly.
The location is perfect, set back a little off the road. It's within walking distance of the bus stop if you want to venture out. There's plenty of amenities within a couple minutes walk. The room had a good amount of space and great facilities. The bathroom was beautiful and really spacious, despite a sewer smell coming up through the sink when using it. HUGE plus for us is it being dog friendly
