Usually I am looking for that one point that´s not perfect - but this time I couldn´t find. Everything was nearly perfect, the location, the helpful hosts, the all-in-the-house-equipment (I never could imagine how many things can be stored and not beeing visible - well planned and designed). Hope that all other users will love it too and keep it clean and outstanding. We travelled with child and dog and all found their place.

It was a peaceful serene place away from the city noise. The property was very neat and spacious. My kids felt at home. The host Sarah is the nicest person I’ve met in my life. She should be in charge of world peace 😁 I recommend Orchard Cottage if you’re looking for a great place and a kind host.

Absolutely stunning place to spend a night or a few. On arrival we were greeted by Laura (and her collies!) who showed us to the jam van, the van was clean and homely and the bed very soft and cosey, the jam van had everything we needed got the nights stay, tea, coffee, sugar, milk, mugs etc etc. The view was amazing, lots of sheep grazing the field. The starry sky at night was beautiful. The shower block was clean with nice hot showers. We enjoyed feeding an Apple to the friendly pigs and piglets. There’s also other animals to spot such as horses, geese, and chickens. Would definitely recommend and spend the night again.

We loved our stay at the stable. It was spotless, beautifully decorated, quiet, peaceful, bigger than expected, spacious, warm, cosy and had everything you need for a short stay! There was plenty of storage space in the bedroom, and the bathroom was also a good size. Our hosts went above and beyond and provided an amazing, extensive welcome pack with fresh local produce, which was great and such a nice added touch- Thank you! They were also very lovely when we got lost on the way there and were very helpful. We cannot fault anything about our stay... it was amazing and we will definately be coming back to stay here again this is such a gem of a place to stay :)
