Good glamping experience, small fire pit with some grill racks in an enclosed group of trees gives you privacy and somewhere decent to have a small BBQ. First time glamping so cant compare with others but we really enjoyed our stay and the host, Jenny was fantastic and very informative about what to do in the area, She sells burgers from her own farm and I highly recommend trying some over your little BBQ. The pods themselves were nice, warm and clean and the two separate beds we had could be made into one big king-size bed with loads of room. I'm 6ft 4 and weigh 16st and felt comfortable. Highly recommend and would be happy to stay here again

The property was ideally located to explore the northeast of Scotland and to visit the Isle of Orkney. The cottage was very roomy and we appreciated that it had not only a washing machine but also a dryer for our laundry. After a few weeks in Scotland this was a blessing. George was an amazing host and had a number of items for us to access during our stay. Again, much appreciated. Finally, the neighbours ( the cows and sheep) in the surrounding fields were always entertaining to watch.

Jan & Alan are excellent hosts who couldn't be more helpful. The cottage is warm and comfortable with lots of attention to detail. It is situated near to bus routes with good services to Thurso, Wick and Inverness. There are lovely walks from the cottage round Dunnet Bay with good birdwatching, even in the snow. A great find!

Location was central to what we wanted to achieve whilst in the area. The directions on Booking.com were essential to find the property as it is quite remote from Watten. Plenty of off road parking - suitable for camper van(s). Facilities and fittings and equipment in the cottage were well thought out and of high quality. Heating was effective and easy to control.
