Had all the amenities you needed. There is a fantastic walk at the end of the street, through some woods which I absolutely loved. Also there was a shop nearby which we walked to

The house is in a great location to easily get to both Chesterfield and Mansfield, even Sheffield. There was always on street parking available close to the property too. The street was very quiet and the surrounding area is nice, we would definitely book again.
The location was ideal as it was very close to Bolsover Castle.
The Sanctuary Inn was excellent, especially the Spanish tapas and the Batemans ales.
The room was a good size, well equipped, and exceptionally clean.
The staff could not do enough for us, especially Charlene.
Food was excellent - both the evening meal and breakfast were spot on. Owner and staff were great. Nice patio area at the back to eat in. Twin room was clean but if I'm being picky would benefit from some comfier easier chairs to relax in. You have to sit on a bed edge under a sloping roof or a basic upright chair. The dog is nice.
The breakfast was really good as were the two evening meals we had. We stayed here to visit Hardwick Hall and the location just by the motorway suited us very well.
The property is well equipped, easy to find and comfortable.
The bathroom is lovely and the beds were very cosy.
Had no issues with communication and if available on my next trip to chesterfield and surrounding areas I would rebook in a second.
Extremely good value for money
The host was very welcoming, telling us about what was in the area and asking about our journey etc. Lovely big house and immaculately clean even for a dog friendly stay
