This is the most perfect little cottage hidden in the New Forest, with the best owners, who answered every question we had and also gave us some handy tips for the area. The cottage was beautifully decorated, with so much art, immaculately clean, well equipped and so homely. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need for a short break, including a bottle of Prosecco waiting for us in the fridge! There was a dog & child friendly pub within a short walking distance, with great food & drink. The surroundings are just breathtaking and idyllic. The wifi was an added bonus, and everything worked as it should have, and if there was anything we didn't understand, the manual guide provided by the owners explained everything in detail! Just cannot fault our stay here and will be definitely returning.

Great service from the staff really felt well looked after. The breakfast was lovely and lots on offer with the continental breakfast, but you could order a full English if you wanted more. The bathroom was huge and beautifully modernised. The location is in the centre of the village with wild ponies, donkeys and cows greeting us each morning. We loved the open fires and having tea in the lounge, very comfortable bed too.

The location was stunning. the hotel was just amazing and felt like we had gone back in time with all the history that surrounds it. our bedroom was clean and cozy and just beautiful. The staff were all helpful and friendly. we ate dinner in the evening at the river view restaurant, the food was amazing as was breakfast, we took the boat trip and took a walk along the river, can’t believe we had never heard of this place. was the most perfect stay.
