Audleys Wood Hotel, Basingstoke, hotel in Basingstoke

Surrounded by tranquil Hampshire countryside yet just a mile from Basingstoke, Audleys Wood Hotel provides a stately Victorian escape.

I had a wonderful stay at Audleys Wood Hotel. The hotel is stunning, set in a calm and beautiful location with a charming, historic house that exudes warmth and elegance. The attention to detail really stood out—cozy blankets for outdoor seating, games to enjoy, and thoughtful touches like dog treats, water bowls, and even dog beds for our furry friends. The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel truly welcome throughout our stay. It’s a perfect place for a peaceful getaway, and I can’t wait to return

Perfect country hotel in a superb location. I have stayed here before, and this stay was superb - a cosy and very clean room, great housekeeping, very friendly hosts, amazing power shower, great views, ample parking, a big Sainsburys next door for any last minute purchases (came very useful on this occasion), very close to the centre of the village, very quiet and peaceful. Will definitely stay again!

The annexe had everything that we needed and was perfect for a weekend getaway. A really comfy bed, well equipped kitchen and lovely roof terrace. The fact it was dog friendly was great too. Our 7 month old puppy was on his first trip away with us and the accommodation was perfect for that.

The rooms are comfortable and clean. There are around 10 rooms only. The main pub is really good. The location is beautiful too. There's a stream nearby with ducks. The pub is pet friendly and has a great vibe. The food is really good. The breakfast was tasty. I particularly loved the big mushrooms. The staff is helpful and polite. It was a business stay but l really enjoyed the evenings.
