The location is without parallel, literally within seconds of stepping out we were walking through woods and long the canal. It was an idyllic location with an amazing view and from the property and from the walk.

The staff were pleasant and very helpful. It was a clean enough environment and comfy. There were tea/coffee facilities in each of the rooms and a mini bar at reception where you could purchase snacks and drinks. It's right at the M1 services, so although there are no restaurant facilities within the hotel, you do have a variety of places next door such as McDonald's, Costa, Spar, etc.

The staff were friendly.
The hotel room was nice and comfortable with the added bonus of bottles of water. There was even a couple of bottles of their famous ale to try.

Ideal for the kids with the park and the farm. Good location for travel. House was very clean and had all the amenities required, including wet room and disabled facilities which my elderly parents really appreciated.
Lovely quiet location. Very clean and tidy. Staff friendly and helpful. As a solo female traveler I felt very comfortable at Crich Lane Farm and would certainly recommend it. I very much hope I will be able to stay there again.
Everything......visiting friends in Clay Cross ...location perfect....accomodation excellent.... excellent breakfast....price competitive.....and the welcome and service first rate....can not fault it
Location excellent
Hotel looks tired, windows rotten, carpets worn, initial room tatty, upgraded to better room
Breakfast on day one freshly cooked and excellent , day 2/3 buffet breakfast poor.
Staff hit and miss, some pleasant , some grumpy.
Drinks prices very reasonable.
Bar food mediocre, burger tough to cut, even with a steak knife, chicken burger good. Chips overcooked. 😬
A self-catering cottage but it was lovely to find a welcome food pack (bread, eggs, biscuits and milk) awaiting us. Nice gesture. Perfect for staying with dogs!
Lovely location, very welcoming Hosts and the Dogs and other Animals were so cute and friendly too! We enjoyed the beautiful Full English Breakfast, with the Poached Eggs being cooked to perfection. The Farm was in close walking distance to a lovely village that served hot meals and Cocktails. A very quiet and relaxing stay!
