We loved the old-world charm of this beautiful property, peacefull and full and history. Our room was very spacious, as was the bathroom, offering great comfort. The highlight was the snug bar, where we had an intimate dinner in a warm and cozy atmosphere. The food was delicious!!

Beautiful location, it was perfect for what we wanted as a base. As the castle was closed for renovations we had complete peace and quiet. When we booked we were unsure about whether the Interior would be big enough but were very pleasantly surprised by how spacious it felt. We would totally recommend it.

The location is beautiful. So peaceful. The house is extremely comfortable like a home from home. It is one of my favourite places to stay ever! The hosts are fabulous. Thoughtful and provide so many little extras. It is a well equipped house. We were visiting family and were able to have them round for dinner because the house is welcoming with a well equipped kitchen. The cosy fireplaces make it sociable and pretty special. We all kept oversleeping because it is so quiet and comfortable.

Fantastic location - not far from local attractions and amenities, a really cosy cottage and the hot tub is always a plus. The hosts were responsive and friendly and provided us with everything we needed for the duration of the stay. The cottage is pet-friendly with a dog bed provided. Would highly recommend it.
