For people with mobility issues there is a very good lift and the rest of the hotel is on level access. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. We liked being able to have the dog with us.

The host was very accommodatng because i needed to charge my toothbrush and he found an adaptor for me and also having our dog with us they didnt make you feel uncomfortable at all . We had our evening meal in the bar area which was fine as the food was outstanding so was the service . We would definitely stay there again if we were in that area of the country .

The location was lovely. We wanted somewhere to stay on our way to Scotland, and Heather Glen allowed us to do that in a little village set in the countryside, with plenty of walks and views. It was easy to find, and I think visitors won't be disappointed. The bar area meant we could have our dog with us all the evening, and there was also an area near the front door where you can relax in front of an open fire.

The location is great, beautiful countryside, lovely grounds. The food was fabulous, both dinner and breakfast were good quality with plenty of choice, the bar was well stocked and reasonably priced, the in room toileteries were devine, local and ecologically friendly (I did end up buying some to take home). It was very safe for the children and great for the dog. The staff were very friendly, especially the gentleman at breakfast and the rooms were very clean.
