Spotlessly clean and fragrant. Easy dedicated parking. Comfortable bed, great shower. Lovely decor. Peaceful location. Restaurant 7 mins walk away with 5 course set menu for about 15 euros including wine! Basic food but amazing value.

Lovely property, plenty of clean linen / towels, Sophie was easy to get hold of to answer any questions, we couldnt read her handwriting for the wifi password and she kindly messaged us a typed version and it worked well. Large TV with youtube showing films in english, lovely garden

The location was excellent in a safe and peaceful area but close enough to a really nice town , the host was friendly and helpful, the room was very clean and tidy we had a nice breakfast and overall were very happy with our stay .
Nice place to stay on an overnight stop travelling through France. Good location north of Alencon - easy to get to, and park. Rooms simple but nice. Really great restaurant to eat home cooked food in the evening. Prices super reasonable.
Had good stay there/ good food /good beer /good home brew rum and added bonus of secure parking for our motorcycles ,owners english better than our french so communication was no problem,will use again when in area
The location is perfect for our journey from UK to our holiday home in Charente-Maritime. Now in our 70@s, we prefer to split the journey over 2 days and the Auberge is about half way. Also, it is a stone's throw from the A28 autoroute.
We also like the restaurant. Good value and decent cuisine.
