Liked · As we drove into the french countryside we were captivated by La Marte. A quaint farm house, with a truly zen vibe. We were greeted at the door and shown our apartment which was above the host's own home. The breakfast is amazing and the room is superb. Ideal for friends travelling together and families. Brilliant little property, remote, very peaceful, location with the owner’s donkey and goat in the field next door and horses in the field next to that. Great night’s sleep in a comfortable bed. Everything you need in a Chambre d’hote and a plentiful breakfast delivered by the host. My wife and myself loved it.
Location was incredible just the one cabin so very safe. We could close the gate and be enclosed so the kids and the dog could wander freely. The donkey and goat are wonderful for the kids to play with and extremely friendly. The property itself is incredible, beautiful garden and beautiful building. The breakfast was delicious. We will be booking again next year :)
Exceptionally good value for money
We loved everything about our stay. The location was beautifully rural. We felt very welcome there - the room was nice and cosy, beds super comfortable and breakfast really exceeded our expectations. I would definitely recommend it and hopefully we'll be back one day as well. Merci!
