Magnificent! Everything was there when I arrived in the evening, cookies, sweeties, apples. In the morning, yogurts, orange juice, a full baguette with butter and several marmelades, a croissant, a chocolat bread! And the coffee, one of the best I ever tasted. We had the best time here! Natalie is so so lovely and really made it such a perfect stay for us. There was plenty of parking and the communication was perfect. We were in the area for a family wedding and they were so accommodating in letting our cousins come and join us for days by the pool or dinners. They even let my aunt and uncle stay on the grounds for camping for a small additional cost! The pool area was so so so amazing, such a lovely pool with toys too! And so many seating options, and such a lovely kitchenette area and shaded dining area outside. We had just the most perfect few days here and would 100% recommend and would love to come back again. We maxed out the sleeping with 7 of us which meant that we used the sofa bed. 5 people would be the ideal amount if you want to keep the living area free of bedding and luggage!

The gite was spotless, had a modern kitchen, very comfortable bed, cable TV with some options in English, good internet connection and was nicely decorated. Outside there was a covered seating area, BBQ and a small above ground pool. Nice view of the chateau in La Rochefoucauld from the garden. Property situated in a quiet area only a 15/20 minute walk to the cafés, bars, boulangeries and restaurants in La Rochefoucauld. Lovely Chocolaterie on the main road within 5 minutes walk. Hosts were friendly, but not intrusive. They offer a breakfast service, but we didn't use this. Overall, a small but perfectly adequate place for a short holiday.
