The setting is fantastic. Christine is a wonderful host. The rooms are extremely clean. The English breakfast is the best. I loved that we could make a cup of tea or coffee in the room and watch the geese below in the water.

I stayed at Le Relais because it got late, and I had to stay somewhere. It was immediately welcoming - a busy bar, a restaurant that was still open, welcoming staff. It just felt like someone knew what they were doing.
The dinner was fine - not a complicated menu, a buffet starter then a choice of 'plat'. But it was lovely.
My room was clean, there was enough space, nice bathroom, enough sockets.
I'll stay here again. It was fantastic value for money, everything worked, and it was fast, too.

Location at edge of village. Short walk to centre. Garage for the bike. Clean rooms and pleasant staff. Restaurant on site was not open in the evening when i was there, which was disapointing.
The is was a perfect stay in a stunning chateau! Our hosts were extremely hospitable, the room was beautiful and the grounds were exceptional! They also accommodated our dog which we are very grateful for. Thank you for such a unique and authentic experience!
The breakfast was great. The location was good as there was a restaurant across the road. The property is beautiful with wonderful gardens and chateau.
Location was excellent in the suburbs of Craon. We liked the church bells, very relaxing. The accommodation was first class, clean and very well equipped. The TV did not have English programmes except for Netflix but that was absolutely no hardship. There is also excellent wi-fi.
Craon is well placed to visit many attractions eg. Vitre, Terra Botanica and many lovely surrounding towns and villages
