Bernadette was very welcoming and made sure we could communicate fully. Bernadette gave us suggestions for possible restaurants in the area. We had a very good night's rest and breakfast, with homemade conserves and ham.

Very warm welcome and very good breakfast. Kees was friendly and helpful and even offered to take us in his car to a nearby restaurant (closest ones were closed on a Sunday). Room was lovely and clean with comfortable beds. There was secure storage for our bikes.

Absolutely everything! Dominique was the best host ever. She responded to all our queries immediately and went the extra mile to ensure our stay was perfect. The apartment was very well appointed with everything you needed, and more! The kitchen, dining and lounge areas were excellent and all the little extra touches, and the unique decor were a delight. The bedroom was small but had a very comfortable bed and suited our needs. The information booklet Dominique created was very detailed with heaps of terrific suggestions for day trips and activities in the area. The setting beside the river was superb; peaceful, relaxing and a beautiful environment. We didn't use the pool but it looked very inviting, and we enjoyed breakfast and evening drinks on our balcony. It was handy to Argentat's town centre and the walk into Argentat beside the river was easy and very beautiful, as is Argentat. There was a lovely walk with a lake nearby as well. I would definitely return for a longer stay/holiday. Totally recommend. 💚

Everything was perfect from the moment we arrived. Cecile and Thierry were helpful and friendly. Comfy beds, quality towels and bedding. Even the fridge was full of goodies including fresh fruit and Cecile's homemade jam!! Highly recommend , we will be back!!😄
