Talk about amazing hosts, these two could not have been more kind and accommodating! I stayed here with my four girls for a week and it was like staying at Grandma and Grandpa's house. So much fun! The property is just beautiful. Lots of space, a swing set, games, amazing balcony, and walking trails. Just picturesque French countryside! The pool is also really great. It's located up a set of stairs from the apartment (gite) right next to the "summer kitchen" that the Fabre's use. Using a shared pool was not a problem because we got to meet friends and they let us use their pool equipment and toys. The property is in a small town of only 250 people. Thankfully there is a small store / restaurant (Epicerie) a 5 min walk away with lots of convenient things to buy. Great place to stay. I hope to come back.

The owner Cyrille was very welcoming and an excellent communicator with lots of messages to help us. The house was large and spacious with many rooms. A beautiful view from several rooms and a lovely ( very steep) garden. Very light rooms. Beautiful terrace with fabulous view. This area is beautiful. The house is very very well equipped, particularly in the kitchen and bathroom. Nothing lacking. The central lounge area was very homely with house plants and a quiet reading area, even a home gym.

The food was excellent, not a large menu, but I would have happily eaten any of the selection. The food looked and tasted fabulous, the service was friendly and efficient. Breakfast was delightful, fresh fruit, freshly baked bread, croissant etc. Both dinner and breakfast were served on the terrace overlooking the spectacular Auvergne hills. The room was simply but tastefully furnished. I can highly recommend.

Nice cozy apartment with high ceiling in an old building. The host provided us with clear instructions there to park and how to check-in, and left a welcome gift for us. There was no problems with parking in a couple of minutes from the apartment.
