Excellent place to explore Alands. The hotel is at main but pacefull street and has own free of charge parking place. Very nice and helpfull staff, we have been advised on restaurants for dinner. Rich breakfast buffet - strongly recommend hotel for other guests.

Breakfast was amazing and probably 9/10ths of the reason you should book here, too. The spread was incredible with the usual suspects: scrambled eggs, bacon, yogurts, bread station and coffee/tea. In addition they had various local fish including smoked fish (2 types), herring (3 types), fish roe (two types), local cheeses, and local fruits. It was phenomenal. They also have a left luggage facility which is secure.

Lighting in our room was perfect, location was great
Located in the centre of Mariehamn, Esplanad Suites is within walking distance of just about everything in the city. Our apartment was spotless. Two bedrooms, living room, kitchenette with all mod-cons, bathroom with shower, bathtub, washing machine and dryer.
What really surprised us was the level to which the apartment was serviced. Each day the beds were made, towels changed and dishes placed in the dishwasher.

I had a really lovely self catering twin cabin (number 12) with a veranda. Site location is perfect to explore the Åland Islands whilst also being a 5 minute bike ride from Mariehamn town. Nice to have the outdoor pool and places to sit and enjoy the view.
We stayed for two nights at Hotel Esplanad as a family group (1 adult and 2 adolescent children). Great location in the centre of Mariehamn and useful balcony for warm evenings. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was ok. This is a no-frills hotel with facilities to match, but it was fine for our stay.

Excellent location and great to spend holiday with dog. The sea terrace was surprisingly warm and offered wind protection although it was a windy weather. Great place to sunbathe.

The central location makes it an ideal place to stay when you visit Mariehamn. The breakfast was very good and diverse, the a la carte restaurant is very good and the restaurant price is very competitive.
