Beautifully restored stone house in a lovely little village, with a courtyard where we were served a variety of delicious tapas after a long drive.
The owner and staff were very friendly and welcoming, even to our two dogs.
The room was peaceful, cool (facing over the surrounding mountains) and the bed was comfortable. There was literally nothing about this place we didn’t like. We pass through the area every year and will make sure we allow for a longer stay to enjoy the hikes in the area next time. We have stayed in other small hotels in this area but Font del Genil was way better, and better value for money. Thank you!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location is perfect, the scenery is beautiful, it’s very peaceful , the hosts were lovely and there is a bar /restaurant about 5 minutes walk away and a restaurant about 10 minutes walk away. You need to check that they are open, especially out of season. We will definitely go back.
Excellent breakfast, beautiful location, amazing facilities (what other rural inn like this has a gym?) and super nice people running the place. Owner doesn't speak English but this was actually a plus for me, as I'm learning Spanish and most other people just switch over to English because it's easier. This was good practice.
