The hotel is a bit outside the village, relatively close to the Praia da Fora. That’s good. But opposite the hotel there are two big dogs barking, all the time someone is passing by. The rooms have no airco, so either to sleep poor because of the heat or the barking. But the view to the east is great. Ask for a room on that side of the hotel!
The staff doesn't speak English but was helpful in the best possible way. It's a small town and the location is very close to the city centre, just 4mins walk to bus station, supermarket and restaurants nearby.
Pedro was a very kind and helpful host. The location is perfect, very close to the beaches, one for sunrise and the other for the sunset. The breakfast was great with a lot of coffee and fresh squeezed juices. Also a fresh made cake by Pedro’s mother.
The rooms are comfortable and clean, as well as bathrooms. I can only recommend this place.
Wonderful. The hotel is located on a hill. A short walk to the village with plenty restaurants and beaches. The room on the ground floor is tastefully furnished, even with a small terrace. Breakfast unique. Staff very friendly. A large garden with a swimming pool, very imaginatively furnished. Highly recommend.
Everything about this property is wonderful from the beds to the location. However what takes it over the top are the hosts. They are so kind, helpful and engaging. They make homemade delicious breakfast and add so many personal touches, including a parting gift for staying with them.
Fabulous location in the centre of town, very clean & just 5 mins from the bus station. Directly opposite a launderette. Open access to kitchen with tea/coffee provided. A real homely atmosphere. Would highly recommend it.
The property is breathtakingly beautiful inside and has a great view of the ocean. The staff were all very nice and helpful. I also had the best seafood dinner there that I’ve ever had. Hang out, pet the dog, drink some wine, enjoy the wonderful views and food.
