Fantastic location to all the major skiing and hiking spots. You can even grab a bus from the town if you don’t have a car or don’t want to drive. The apartment itself is well maintained, and the owner is very responsive and immediately turned on the heating when I arrived. You can park right in front of the apartment complex which is a big bonus. The building itself feels very secure and well maintained.

Being located above the civic heart of the local community (all the bars) meant that you didn't have to go far to get a nice drink, tapa or food. The apartment itself is very spacious and has public parking right across the street (although not a huge amount of spaces), there are some shops in the village itself and then plenty of big supermarkets along the main motorway to Leon if you miss something specific. The scenery you get right from the windows is amazing, and the wider area is really beautiful (we are in Asturias after all) with lots of summer hiking trails of varying degrees of difficulty. Oviedo is only a 45-minute drive away, the coast is only about an hour.
