The owner and staff have done a magnificent job of restoring this 100 year old building to a wonderful condition. Much of the restoration has been completed, and I was impressed by how he/they continue improving even the smaller details. The service was excellent, the building, immaculate, and I especially enjoyed watching the clouds drift up among the surrounding hills in the early mornings.

The facilities are fabulous in a secluded location! It's got so much, a swimming pool, a hot tub, a river front, bbq abd picnic facilities, a court for basketball and mini-soccer, and a miniature golf course. The is even a small planetarium. The rooms, dining rooms, and public areas are elegantly furnished and the art work is special. The food was terrific. The attentiveness of the proprietors is exceptional. The prices are a great value!

We have been staying at Villa Emilia for many years now. The place is super clean. They do provide daily room service with towels and make up the beds. We like their breakfast. The staff is super helpful always. On site parking was a plus.it always feels like a home away from home because it’s a small hosteria.. It’s walking distance to great restaurants, a super maxi, and a small mall. we refer them to our friends all the time. We stayed for eight nights this last time due to appointments. I’ve been here in Ecuador for 15 years now.

The view, walking the borders of the river, the silence, the nature around, the house is very comfortable and cozy. The best place to stay away and rest with family and pets. Our attendant is the mostly friendly and kindly person who I ever met. I’ll back soon!
The accommodation was lovely and tranquil. The hosts were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend Castillo de Nallig. Will definitely stay here again. Perfect location to explore the surrounding area.
The breakfast was very good. The location was good, a bit far from town however. When we were there (only one night)
believed we were the only guests at the location. Thought perhaps they were in a shut down situation, as being out of season. The staff was excellent, giving us very good personal service; The grounds were very well taken care of. The beds were good.
