The room, the pool, the tranquility, the hammock, the beach in front of the door, the staff.
We must highlight the outstanding food we were served for breakfast, lunch and dinner. That was absolutely top notch and probably the best we have eaten in the RD.

Quiet area. Not much around but had a nice bakery/cafe just down the road. Very well kept grounds and a great pool. Room was clean. 15 min. walk to the surfing beach and from there it was possible to walk to Cabarete Beach on a small Rd along the ocean till you got close to Kite beach, then walk on the beach ( 5 km walk) We had a terrible bed and the management changed us to a new room with a better bed.

I had a great time at gypsy ranch. Its family run, affordable, the room was basic but comfortable, and the hosts were lovely. Lots of friendly dogs and cats on property. Special thanks to Angelito who helped me out when I stepped on an urchin at the beach and took all the spines out of my foot! Im forever grateful :)
The location is great. The Serenade Bar is very nice because it is the quietest bar on the beach. If you are not at Serenade, you are at some other place with a blasting band or stereo, next door to another place with a blasting band or stereo. There is a lot of noise from competing music, but not at Serenade. The grounds are beautiful and the hotel is very pretty.
This property is incredible in every way, the apartment is amazing I just don’t know where to start, i love the furniture & every detail that has been put into it. The owners are very accommodating & so kind! The view is amazing & the bedroom is so special! There is so much space & they even accept pets which meant I could bring my cat as she is travelling with me!
The location was amazing; private beach; great access to the ocean; stunning dining on the beach in the evening and for breakfast. The owner and the staff were all fantastic and friendly- can’t say enough about them. Fun to have friendly dogs around.
Liked good A/C, comfy king sized bed, hot water, big fridge, big jug of bottled water, beach towels, amazing balcony, quiet- off the busy street, manager José spoke mostly Spanish and German, so I was glad I could speak German.
-we loved the dog Figo that was on the grounds- friendly, healthy and loved a good petting.
-sheets and towels and floors and bathroom were super clean
A lovely family runs this place, and you'll be given the chance to share their home and enjoy the company of their dogs and cats. Nathalie and Cindy are very helpful and make you feel that you're at home. This is a very good spot for surfers because you are in a walking distance (a beautiful road) to the best spot for surfing in the area. I would recommend this place and would stay again.
The garden and swimming pool are amazing, the room has everything I need, location is great, good price.. Also, you can bring your pet with you :) They're helping animals at the place, so don't be surprised to see many friendly dogs living here. So good that someone took care of them :)
