A very nice well-equipped house with enough room for 2 families with kids. Located in a peaceful and charming small village by the river, surrounded by vineyards. The house has a huge backyard, so you can chill in there as well as explore the surroundings, like we did for the whole length of our stay. We were a family of 3 biking along the Mosel for 5 days. The host was readily available to help us enter the apartment and store our bikes in a secure garage. The room was large, well equipped for us to eat breakfast in the room, and large windows we could open for fresh air. Across the street from this room is the Mosel River, and the docked Roman Wine boat. We weren't in town on the day of it's public use, but it was exciting just to see it from our window! We could easily walk to the store for groceries, and the main restaurants in town are just along the same road as this lodging. This is a sleepy little town, but became my favorite of our travels just for it's peaceful setting, and somewhat natural display of it's Roman history. We would love to have stayed an extra night to enjoy the rest here.
