There were three of us who stayed in the three bedroom villa, next to the forest frequented by howler monkeys. The interior is rustic, just as we wanted. We provided our own meals without any problems. The owner Brigit was super helpful, and in addition toi explaining details of how to get around by car for shopping, retaurants etc, she provided the essential help for us to get to the right place to commence our salt water fishing session. This required WhatsApp calls and messaging, which she offered to initiate, rather than us asking.

My stay of 9 nights (first by myself, later on with my boyfriend) was just absolutely fantastic! After some weeks of travelling that was just the perfect spot to relax, to enjoy amazing views and wonderful sunsets close to quiet nature surroundings and away from town!

Wolf was very helpful, was happy to supply cutlery & plates etc so we could make our own breakfast. The pool area was a great relaxing place to watch the monkeys.

Everything was great, nice clean rooms, beautiful hotel in and outside. The staff was very friendly. When I injured myself and took a long time to walk back from the beach they let us check out a little later. We didn't get to try the restaurant but the food looked great. Wished we could have stayed longer.

Beautiful location with a private beach. The rooms were clean, the staff lovely, and the included breakfast quite good. There was a pair of wild Scarlet Macaws cruising the grounds of the hotel which was amazing.
The property is down a long dirt road on a completely isolated beach, if you are looking for a quiet, beautiful location with not many people it is perfect. If you enjoy being able to walk out of your hotel and have a handful of options for food or shopping, this is not the place for you. Rental car necessary when staying here, which was a major perk for us.
You couldn’t get a more private and beautiful beach location. Its picture post card beautiful beach is just out of this world and honestly would be difficult to beat given it’s literally a 2 km private beach…max 10 people on at any one time! Pool was really nice and swim up bar a nice touch. Our kids enjoyed the smoothies and we enjoyed the cocktails!
The hotel looks like something out of a Roger Moore based James Bond movie. Tonnes of charm and unbelievable setting.
