We loved everything about this place!
The location is very convenient and yet quiet. The courtyard is so peaceful and beautifully decorated in traditional Yunnan style. Their breakfast is delicious, it was the best on our whole trip!
The staff was so friendly and also extremely helpful when we had an unexpected problem on our journey, we will forever be grateful for that! We absolutely recommend this place!

I had an amazing experience at this guesthouse. The owner is incredibly friendly and accommodating, this is by far the best place I've ever stayed. The cozy atmosphere and beautiful sea view made the experience even better. We originally booked the family suite, but since the toilet and shower had a glass window, it was a bit inconvenient as we were a couple staying with a parent. The owner kindly gave us an additional sea view room for our mom at a deep discount, which was so thoughtful.
The hospitality was beyond what we expected. We mentioned that we weren’t used to having noodles for breakfast, and the next morning, the owner surprised us with rose biscuits and eggs, which was perfect!
If you’re considering this guesthouse, book it! You won’t regret it. I’ll definitely stay here again if I return to Dali.

We had a great stay thanks to the amazing and kind staff working there, who accommodated every request. The location is really nice if you do not want to stay in the commercial old town which is anyway about 10 minutes by cab. Breakfast was also good. Thanks for the great stay!

Very clean and comfortable. The owners were very friendly and helpful. They helped to arrange for our excursions and a driver to take us around Dali. The breakfast and lunch were delicious. Room was spacious. We really appreciate their help and kindness. We had a lovely time in Dali.

The room is nice and cozy. The host of the place is very nice, friendly and accommodating. He picked us up from the main road near the ancient town when we arrived and also helped us booked bus tickets to Lijiang when we leave. Location is about 10 minutes slow walk to the ancient town of Dali, and there are alot of restaurants nearby the accommodation. You can also do your laundry at the accommodation. You can watch the beautiful sunrise and sunset at the roof top garden. And they also have 2 lovely cats.

Blue Sea Hotel is a lovely place, located right next to the lake. The views are simply amazing, perfect to watch the sunrise from the rooftop terrace. Mr Young, our host, was very friendly and helped us a lot. The local style breakfast was fresh and delicious. Would highly recommend this hotel for anyone who enjoys peace and comfort. We loved the location. So close to so many restaurants, pharmacies, cafes, convenience stores, etc. Lovely hosts! Beautiful dog at the place who likes to play fetch! Nice cozy warm feel to the room. enough space for our family of four.
They were helpful with finding a place to test before we left and booking us a large van for our family to get to the train station.
