An authentic hotel, situated on a cobbled alpine village street. Staff were lovely & our bed was comfortable. Lovely view over the street. 5 minute walk from museums & castle. Amazing views from the village. They accommodated my celiac requirements. Great TV with all the options necessary.

Check in was fast and very gentle/ friendly. The hotel is new and well located on the second floor of a shopping (pharmacy, a small market, cheese and wine store, etc); room was very clean and well decorated, shower is excellent. Breakfast buffet was very good and tasty (salmon, cheese, etc). I chose The Hotel D because of the garage and the proximity to Gruyeres but the experience overall was very good! The train station is beside but you can not hear anything from there, zero noise. The Bulle center is very close and cute with little restaurants (it is not necessary to use a car).

Great location, comfortable room, great bathroom/shower and very nice to have tea/coffee and a few snacks and fruit left in the room. the Internet TV with English channels available was a lovely bonus. the welcome book has some good local recommendations for food and sights etc.
We stayed only one night, but enjoyed it. Nice comfortable room, very nice shower, everything was impeccably clean. The host is warm and helpful. Quite and beautiful surroundings. Ah, and they have a lovely cat :) also dogs, but we didn't see them.

Honest opinion!
We had an amazing stay - the host was extremely kind and provided great assistance throughout our stay! She was always there to answer our questions and made us feel at home. The bathroom was clean, the bedroom was big, had a space for car park, had important things like kettle, mugs etc. in the room. We totally loved it!
I was not feeling too well during the stay but our host did everything to make sure I was feeling better. Her daughter is extremely cute and made our stay extra lively. Their pets are really cute too!

impeccable room with fruit platter and various small chocolates, equipment to make you coffee, tea. I love the walk-in shower and the really superb bathroom. The best WiFi I've ever had, great for sending my report. I also think it's excellent to take off your shoes before going home, I love it, because that's how I live. I absolutely recommend this Home Sweet Home
