it was just … a dream! a modest but unforgettable castle experience:) Thomas, the castle manager, was super kind and welcoming. the facilities are practically new - but combined so carefully with the old heart of the castle. the beds are comfortable, there are board games to choose from, and even during the colder months the heating system works great. would recommend a thousand times! (just keep in mind that it requires walking up some flights of stairs to reach the premises) so grateful for this experience ❤️

Maison Jenny is our sneaky getaway go to and will remain as such going forwards. The sauna is absolutely amazing. The restaurant has brilliant food and cocktails. Breakfast is wonderful and varied. We love this place!

Very convenient location to stay a few days in Basel. A little bit out of the centre of Basel, but excellent access to the city using public transport, which comes for free with the guest card. Covered free parking across the road. This must be the 4th time we have stayed here. Very friendly staff.
