I have stayed in this hotel many times. This time I stayed in room 519 which is a two room suite with a large spa bath in a separate room as well. This room overlooks the harbour, sleeping giant, and the marina on Lake Superior. The view at night was just gorgeous. They have improved their dinner menu and the food now is very good and well priced. Breakfast was also excellent -- of course both come with quite the view.

I actually love this hotel a lot! I think that it’s very nicely renovated inside, it’s pet friendly which is great for us! The rooms are comfy and clean, the staff is awesome! There’s free breakfast thats yummy, and the location is great too! Definitely would recommend, and would stay here again!
The hotel is absolutely beautiful, close to the water front for walking. Rooms were large, beds extremely comfortable. Excellent breakfast. Very good value for your money compared to other hotels in Thunder Bay. The history of the building adds to the charm if staying there. And above all pet friendly, which for us who travel with their dogs, extremely important, sometimes I feel like we are punished for our pets, but not here, treated like everyone else, thank you for that.
Scenic views, great location, sizeable/comfortable/clean rooms and beds... We liked the pool accommodations and its central location, as well as the fact that they were pet friendly which was also a bonus. Good for people with disabilities. Older establishment but well maintained. Will always choose the Prince Arthur in the future.
The location is excellent. It’s easy to get to from the highway. The staff is very friendly. The hotel is pet-friendly and accommodated my request for a ground-floor room.
Beautiful hotel - incredibly well fit out. The bed was luxurious. Big thick towel, heated bathroom floor. Pet friendly (though only on the ground floor). There is dedicated hotel parking lot that was well lit and felt secure. Also loved the massive lawn and with a dog, that was great!
Good for a short stay. Pet friendly, comfortable and clean. Location is not bad, but not super safe. I found a man at the door of my bedroom (from the outside part) looking for drugs, maybe. At the same time, there is a nice dog park just crossing the street! Ah! Continental breakfast.
